Marina Kovtun: Sayda project is a unique example of international cooperation in elimination of nuclear legacy

Governor Marina Kovtun held a meeting with partners of Russian-German Sayda project. German delegation was headed by Hans-Jürgen Hinsdorf, director of the German Ministry of economics and technology’s division of nuclear energy. The meeting was organized in connection with completion of 12-year Sayda project designed to strengthen global nuclear safety. Governor highlighted that construction of long-term storage facility for reactor compartments is a unique example of international cooperation in elimination of nuclear legacy.
