At the annual press conference Governor Marina Kovtun discussed more than 40 questions

At the annual press conference Governor Marina Kovtun took more than 40 questions from local journalists, covering economics, social issues, healthcare, education, politics and prospects of municipal development in the region. Journalist from “Komsomolskaya Pravda” asked at the end of the conference how Governor could describe Murmansk celebrating its 200th anniversary. “It’s easy to predict future of Murmansk. Its fortune is defined by its location. 100 years ago it was established as a sea port, as a road junction in the High North. During the past century Murmansk’s gist hasn’t change a bit. In 2116 I see Murmansk as a high-capacity transport hub with developed western coast of the bay”, noted Marina Kovtun.
