Yesterday Governor Marina Kovtun continued series of meetings with the heads of regional authorities. This time Sergey Myakishev, Minister of labour and social development of the Murmansk Region, made a report on the results of 2013 and plans for 2014.
Governor reminded that regional budget provides 11 bln rubles for the implementation of the state program “Social support of the Murmansk region population”.
Sergey Myakishev named rising of the salaries in the public sector as a main priority.
Murmansk region is still among the leaders of the Northwestern Federal District in terms of minimum salary amount, which is almost 2 times bigger than average federal index.
