Marina Kovtun has met with the Governor of the Saint-Petersburg Georgy Poltavchenko. Plans for further cooperation were discussed during the meeting. The current issue is creation of the Arctic Cluster. Shipbuilding, production and delivery of fish products, tourism, and youth cooperation are as well in the area of focus. Georgy Poltavchenko has mentioned that participation of the representatives from the Saint-Petersburg in the II International Murmansk Business week was useful for development of investment potential of both regions. He invited delegation from the Murmansk region to take place in the 8th St.Petersburg Partneriat. Marina Kovtun and Gregory Poltavchenko have signed the Minutes of the Agreement between the Administration of the Saint-Petersburg and the Murmansk Regional Government on cooperation in economic, research and technology, cultural and social spheres as well as Plan of its implementation for the period 2014-2017. “The document is the ground for our long-term and effective cooperation should boost cooperation between businessmen, scientists, as well as should create beneficial conditions for bilateral projects implementation”, - stated Marina Kovtun.
