The First World War was started 100 years ago, it had cut off more than 10 million lives, had ruined 4 empires, had changed destiny of all the humanity in the world. Murmansk was established in that period. Construction of the unfreezing port was connected with wish of Russia to get access to the Arctic ocean in order to possess military cargoes from alias of the Triple Entente as the Black sea and Baltic were in isolation. A few showpieces (postcards, photos, coins and documents) left in family archives of the members of the Murmansk genealogic society are presented at the Exhibition that will be opened till the 1st of March.
