Such quotas are being allocated annually in order to provide and improve the traditional way of living and the economic activity of Saami people of the Kola Peninsular. The catch volume of cod and haddock is shared between 1066 representatives of indigenous minority. At the average, each represantetive of Saami has received catch qoutas for 280 kg of cod, 70 kg of haddock and not more than 100 kg of whitefish.
