Visit of the delegation from the Murmansk region in Oslo is the most large-scale regional event organized for the last 5 years

Presentation of the Murmansk region was held these days in Oslo in the reception hall of the Russian Embassy in the Kingdom of Norway during the business mission. There were more than 100 participants from Russian and Norwegian side. Tamara Chernysheva in her opening speech has made an emphasis that Norway and Russia are united by common natural resources and therefore have common problems. This business mission is devoted to creation of the favorable climate for citizens and business. The First-Vice Governor of the Murmansk region Alexey Tukavin has made a report about the economic and the investment potential of the Murmansk Region. Chief Executive Officer of the JSC "Sea Geological Expedition" Gennady Kazanin and Chief Executive Officer of the Non-commercial Association "Onshore Fishermen and Farmers of Murman" Anatoly Evenko has told about the future development in the regional oil and fish industry. Olga Kuznetsova, the Chairman of the Committee for Development of Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Murmansk Region, made an emphasis on favorable investment conditions created in the Murmansk region and invited to implement projects on the territory of the Murmansk region. The Head of the Pechenga District Administration has called the Norwegian side to develop cross-border cooperation, especially in format «Twin Cities». Trade representative of the Russian Federation in the Kingdom of Norway pointed out that this business mission in Oslo is the most large-scale event organized for the last 5 years. The results of the mission will be reflected in joint projects.
