Practical steps to overcome youth unemployment in the border areas of Finland and Sweden were discussed during the meeting that was held last week in Oulu, Tornio and Haparanda in the framework of the project «Combating youth unemployment» («ComUnYouth»). The project focuses on improving of the employment situation of young people in the border areas of the North-West of Russia, in the Nordic countries and the Baltic countries and aims to support the activities of young people in the labor market. Coordinator of project «ComUnYouth» is the Information Office of Nordic Council of Ministers in North-West of Russia in St. Petersburg. The project lasts until November 2015.
