Earlier this week, on the Day of Culture, the governor of the Murmansk region Marina Kovtun congratulated those working in culture. Head of the region noted that these people make an invaluable contribution to the preservation of cultural heritage and spiritual development of society. "It's hard to find another profession whose representatives have been so dedicated. Culture is not just a job, it's a high mission, and those, who take on the mission, must have very special soul. These people are talented and selfless, passionate and hardworking and attentive; they work in museums and libraries, schools of art and folk art centers around the Arctic. The contribution of each of you to the general education of mankind, revealing man’s talents and improvement of the world is equally valuable," is said in the official greeting.
