Unique annual ski race “Ski track of friendship” traditionally starts at Rajakoski and covers 12,5 km along three countries – Russia, Finland and Norway. This year the event is planned for March 12. Norwegians and Finns willing to get to Russia to start the contest shall apply for a Russian visa in the Russian Consulate General in Kirkenes, the process for those visa applicants will be simplified. Norwegian residents of 30-km cross-border area will need no visa.
