First vice-governor Alexey Tyukavin held a working meeting with Liv Holmefjord, head of Norwegian Directorate of Fisheries. In his welcoming speech Alexey Tyukavin highlighted that meeting would contribute to further development of mutual cooperation in fisheries and aquaculture. First vice-governor noted that foreign partners are interested to collaborate in that particular area as was confirmed by a recent visit if Faroese delegation. In the follow-up discussion Alexey Tyukavin gave a brief overview of current state of affairs in the fishery sector and outlined trends of its future development.
