Governor Marina Kovtun held a meeting with the Ambassador of the State of Israel to the Russian Federation Zvi Heifetz. Current state of bilateral cooperation as well as prospects of future collaboration in the field of medicine, culture, agriculture and tourism were at the top of the agenda during the meeting. Governor Marina Kovtun noted that contacts between Murmansk region and Israel have been constantly expanding. Particularly it is important given the fact that this year 25th anniversary of the renewal of diplomatic relations between Russia and Israel is celebrated. Murmansk region has become first region of Russia the Ambassador Heifetz visited since his appointment to Russia in 2015.
