In May State veterinary service of the Murmansk region together with the Murmansk branch of Department on fishery and water bioresources preservation (Glavrybvod) are to carry out release of salmon alevins and fries to the Umba river. These measures are taken annually in order to restore salmon population in the rivers of the Murmansk region.
