Investing for the future: new series of science and technology festival “Arctic Young Engineers” started in Murmansk region

Today a new series of science and technology festival “Arctic Young Engineers” started in the Murmansk region. During the festival lasting up till April, 2019 there is going to be held more than 50 science and technology competitions in 15 settlements of the Murmansk region. Festival’s current theme is “Routes of Polar Discoveries” and it is dedicated to the expeditions and science and technology exploration of the Arctic.
The festival started in the Laplandia center with the Lego painting competition “Wonders above the Arctic Circle” and the “Polar Rangers” hacathon.
Quizzes, workshops and exhibitions are being held for the competitors and guests of the festival.
“The “Arctic Young Engineers” festival and all the efforts made to facilitate youth engagement in science and technology is our investments for the future,” Governor Marina Kovtun noted.
