Murmansk region Civic Chamber of the sixth convocation started its work
Today, the first plenary session of the Murmansk region Civic Chamber of the sixth convocation was held. The Governor of the Murmansk region Marina Kovtun took part in this meeting.
The head of the region noted that the Civic Chamber has established itself as an independent tool for feedback from the society over the past 10 years.
The Governor highlighted the importance of continuation of the earlier launched projects. First of all, it is the establishing of the civic councils under executive authorities for independent evaluation of the quality of services in the field of health, social services, culture and education. The head of the region also made a proposal to create municipal civic chambers. According to Marina Kovtun, this step will complete the formation of the public vertical from the municipalities to the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
The Governor said that an important direction of the work of the Civic Chamber is control over the implementation of the "May decrees" of the President, which laid the foundation for 46 regional programs.
