The Murmansk region delegation headed by the governor Marina Kovtun takes part in the Russian investment forum in Sochi.
On the sidelines of the forum two agreements on support of small and medium-sized businesses of the Murmansk region were signed: with the “Business environment” company and the Fund for social projects support. The first is connected with the providing free training programs for entrepreneurs, the second – with the involvement of federal co-financing for the social business in the region. Also an agreement between the Government of the Murmansk region, the administration of the Kovdor district and the MCC "EuroChem" JSC was signed on interaction in the creation of the territory of advanced social and economic development in the Kovdor district.

During the "Regional policy: responding to the challenges" session the governor Marina Kovtun partakes in the round table discussion themed "Developing the power grid of the Russian regions in an era of global technological change". The head of the Murmansk region is to discuss the practical aspects of national priority projects launching at the session "National projects and the regions: the key questions at the beginning of the road", held with the participation of the first Deputy Prime Minister of Russia – Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov.

On the sidelines of the forum the head of the region is to hold working meetings with the heads of the federal authorities and large enterprises on relevant issues of the regional development.

At the forum the Murmansk region was represented by the head of the region Marina Kovtun, the first deputy governor Alexey Tyukavin,  deputy governor Olga Kuznetsova, minister for development of industry and entrepreneurship of the region Dmitry Filippov, deputy minister for development of industry and entrepreneurship Tatiana Russkova, as well as the director general of the Murmansk region development corporation Anton Fedorov.

The Russian investment forum is a traditional platform for the presentation of Russia's investment and economic potential. The Sochi forum brings together the heads of large domestic and foreign companies, governors, representatives of federal and regional authorities, business and academia.
