This proposal has been discussed during the working meeting between acting Governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis with the Russian alpine ski federation president Leonid Melnikov and vice president Valery Tsyganov.
The head of the region has supported the idea noting that attracting professional athletes to the Murmansk region will also contribute to the economic development of the area.
