Andrey Chibis commented on the preliminary results of elections

The acting Governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis gave a briefing to the mass media and commented on the preliminary results of the elections of the head of the region held on September 8. According to the data 60.07% of voters voted for him.

The head of the region noted that the basis for the ongoing work of the regional government remains unchanged: the Plan of 100 steps, national projects, assignments based on the results of visits to municipalities.

At the same time, the regional executive branch has the task of forming a work plan for the next five years. Priory areas will be chosen by the northerners until September 15. The five-year plan will be approved by the end of the year.

Andrey Chibis named the candidate to the Federation Council – Konstantin Dolgov, employee of the Administration of the President. Such choice is determined by the principal status of the international arctic agenda for the Murmansk region.

Andrey Chibis thanked his supporters and all northerners who came to the elections on September 8.
