Ski runs of the Big Wood ski resort are located on the South and North slopes of mountain Aikuaivenchorr and are a true gem of Kirovsk tourist center which attract hundreds of skiers from Russian and abroad.
Governor of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis visited the ski resort and inspected its infrastructure and tourist potential.
Over the course of the last 4 years the number of ski runs has grown and reached 25, 16 of the ski runs are equipped with artificial light, the length of ski tracks has increased from 10 to 30 km. The ski resort offers various types of routes suitable both for professionals and amateur skiers.
The ski runs are certified by FIS and are used for Russian and international competitions.
