The forum is held online on November 5 and 6. The development of Arctic tourism was discussed during the session dedicated to the new tourist routes.

Olga Kuznetsova, Deputy Governor of the Murmansk region, told that the interest in domestic tourism has grown and that the Murmansk region needs a rapid and large-scale infrastructure development.

Deputy Governor stressed that industrial tourism is a new, promising and relevant direction for the region. It is planned to develop with the regional government participation.

The Mining and Processing Plant in Kovdor, LLC Kolskiy Krai, JSC Olkon, and The Kola Nuclear Power Plant have already become leaders in the development of industrial tourism in the region.
