The Murmansk region dwellers will be able to get a hectare of land according to the simplified procedure from August 1. This will be possible due to the expansion of the Far Eastern Hectare program area to the Russian Arctic. This was reported by the Minister of Property Relations Victoria Minkina during the briefing session in the government of the region.

Land is provided without bidding payment-free for 5 years. At the end of this period, the land can be purchased or leased.

At the moment the government of the Murmansk region is carrying out the preparatory stage for the implementation of the program outlining the possible land plots.
