Today, the Murmansk region for the first time hosted the Power Extreme Sports World Cup in the category up to 105 kg. The governor Andrey Chibis visited the competitions in Teriberka.
13 of the strongest athletes from Russia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Poland, the USA, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan performed he Apollo Axis and Atlas Stone pulls, the squat with the car, and the "Farmer's Walk" exercise. Athlete from Russia David Shamey became the champion of the Power Extreme Sports World Cup, the Russian Evgeny Gavrilenko also received silver and the American Nicholas Kambi became the third.
The event was organized by AMK Holding with the support of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, Government of the Murmansk Region and Power Extreme Federation of Russia.
Recall that the judges were Žydrūnas Savickas, world powerlifting icon and multiple record holder, Vasily Grishchenko, President of the Russian Extreme Power Federation and Dion Masters, President of North American Strongman. The competition commentator is the winner of the title "The strongest Man in Russia" Elbrus Nigmatullin.
Also today was held spectacular performances in the "Fitness bikini" category. One of the winners was Murmansk resident – Alina Milkova. She took the third place.
Creative performances for the audience were prepared by the Murmansk drum group "Drum Tum Tum", the Pomor choir and the ensemble of the pop song "Tonica" from Severomorsk. Also a demonstration performance of conscript soldiers of the Murmansk region was held at the site. The event ended with a musical program from DJ Groove.
