Today, October 2, Governor Andrey Chibis congratulated Ekaterina Kuznetsova, an excellent student of public education and honored teacher of the Russian Federation, on her birthday, which she celebrates on the eve of her professional holiday. Also, the head of the region presented the teacher with a letter of thanks.

Ekaterina Kuznetsova until January 2020 worked as a teacher of Russian language and literature at Murmashi secondary school number 1, she is an honorary resident of the village. The teacher paid special attention to linguistic and literary local history: she introduced students to the history of the Kola Peninsula, the work of poets and writers of the Murmansk region, and the peculiarities of language development. She was also the organizer of the regional competition of reciters "Gerasimov Readings", dedicated to the poet-fellow countryman Pyotr Gerasimov.

As the colleagues of Ekaterina Kuznetsova note, her graduates have always shown good results in state final exams, were active participants in research and creative competitions dedicated to the study of their native land, became winners and awardees. In addition, her students occupy high places at various stages of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in the Russian language and literature.

Currently, Ekaterina Kuznetsova is the head of the regional methodological association and a member of the educational and methodological association of teachers of the Russian language and literature of educational organizations of the Murmansk region at the regional Institute for the Development of Education.
